Connect an AI assistant to your account.

Link ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to My Goal Needs Money and ask about your money in plain language — your goals, what you have saved, how loans are going. The assistant uses your own sign-in, so it can only see what you can see.

Step 1 — copy this address

This is the address your assistant connects to. You will paste it in step 2.

Step 2 — connect your assistant

Pick the assistant you use. Each one takes a couple of minutes.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT settings and turn on Developer mode. ChatGPT shows a risk notice — read it before continuing. If Developer mode is not available, a ChatGPT admin needs to enable it for your workspace.
  2. Open ChatGPT plugins — new plugin and the New plugin dialog opens.
  3. Name it My Goal Needs Money and paste the address from step 1 into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create.
  5. Enable My Goal Needs Money from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open Claude — add custom connector. The name and address are filled in for you.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the form did not open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, then name it My Goal Needs Money and paste the address from step 1.
  4. Enable it from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

  1. Run this one line in a terminal:

  2. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to check it connected. Claude Code asks you to sign in from that menu when your account protects the connection.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name the connection My Goal Needs Money and paste the address from step 1.
  4. Finish any sign-in or approval prompts it shows.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use the app.

After the app changes

Assistants remember an older list of what they can do. After this app gains features, refresh the connection so your assistant sees the latest.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select My Goal Needs Money.
  2. Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT cannot update an existing app's address. If it changed, remove the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update its tools.
  3. Claude cannot update an existing connector's address. If it changed, remove the connector and repeat the connect steps above.
  4. Ask Claude to use the app.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it picks up the latest when it connects.
  2. If the address changed, run claude mcp remove my-goal-needs-money, then run the install line again with the new address.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use the app.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection made for this app.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the address changed, paste the latest one from step 1.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use the app.
